Frequently asked questions

I'm interested in booking Travis for a corporate event.  How long does a show last?

Depending on the needs of the organization for whom Travis is performing, a show can last anywhere from 30
minutes to 1.5 hours.  On average, corporate shows are 45-60 minutes in length.

What makes Travis different from other New England region humorists?

Simply stated, Travis writes his own jokes and stories.  All too often, regional humorists simply go on stage and
tell old jokes that somebody else wrote years, and usually decades earlier.  Why would you hire somebody to tell
jokes that were stolen from somebody else?  That would akin to buying a plagiarized book.  Travis takes great
pride in his writing ability and originality.

Is Travis' show really rated G?

Absolutely.  There is no cursing and no "blue" humor in Travis' act.   Because of this, he is the perfect performer
for any occasion and any group.  Some people assume that "clean" comedy can't be funny.  Check out one of
Travis' shows, or listen to one of his CDs, and you'll learn that clean comedy can be totally hysterical.

What are Travis' jokes about?

While virtually anything is potential fodder for Travis' act, his primary interest is daily life in small-town, rural New
England.  He pokes fun at the tourists and the locals alike, invoking images of local characters throughout his
act.   Some of Travis' personal favorite topics are camping, whitewater rafting, hunting, ice-fishing, his two
daughters, and his not-your-normal extended family, many of whom either are or should be employed in the
circus industry.

How much does Travis charge for a performance?

Rates vary tremendously depending on day of week, travel requirements, etc.  We'd be happy to provide a quote
for your organization/event.  Feel free to phone us at 603.367-9441 or email us at Traviswallace@verizon.net for
